The first post tells the story of this blog. I’m a college professor who has decided to pit himself against the elements and try to make the change from a PC to a MAC for work. I need to document the challenges and benefits of making this change and this seemed like the best way to do it.
If you read this and get some value out of it, great. If you read it and offer suggestions, even better.
I selected WordPress because I’ve set up a large number of WordPress sites and it’s easy to set up and use. I picked this theme because I like the look, simple and readable, and because it’s widget friendly so I can add things if I get the time.
Why the name? I have a web site I use to share information with students. I decided to keep this less public and I thought the old sales slogan “Works Like You Do” was appropriate for someone moving to the MAC.
